Objective is to provide a solution to improve the education delivery in the Government Schools. This would be provided to the Government Schools at free of cost. Main Objectives to serve :
1. To reduce the parity gap among the students.
2. To enhance English Communication Skills.
3. To instil analytical capability to arrive at Skill Index and monitor on continuous basis.

Parity Gap:

childrenOne of the main problems faced currently in the Government Schools is wide disparity among the students in the same class. There would be students in class 6th, but their skill level can be 3rd standard or 4th Standard. Teacher focus on imparting education based on their class 6th. These students who are below par won’t be in a position to follow and improve. Thus these students are left out and potential drop outs.
This requires more attention to individual student. But providing the individual attention requires more teachers. Hence this solution is not feasible.

Solution:

Digital learning mode ( a cost effective ) is conceptualised to impart effective education delivery. Each school would have digital lab. We shall load software and content.
1. In the beginning of the each academic year , every student would be assessed ( Subject Wise )
2. A learning schedules gets fixed by the system. ( Learning plan )
3. Each student would be provided one hour or two hours in digital lab with the learning plan with learning units. Each learning unit would be of 10 minutes.
4. After going thru learning each unit , there would be online test. If student gets pass marks , he or she would go the next unit otherwise d needs to repeate the learning unit till he or she gets pass marks.
With this solution implemented, student would be able to enhance their skill level. This mode would be a boon for single teacher schools in rural areas.

To Accomplish:

Sujana Samaja , Care For Soceity (ITOK Foundation ) Trust are working on :

1. Content from 1st Class to 10th Class. To develop for the content for (a) English (b) Environment Science (c) Mathematic. All these subjects are core subjects for the students.
2. Setting up Digital Labs at each identified schools.
3. Training the teachers to use this system / framework so that overall education is driven with the new framework. Support , till the teachers are equipped.

Implementation Approch

Stage 1 : Implement for the schools having desktops suitable to this application. Aim is to use the existing infrastructure and then expand.
Stage 2 : Many schools are adopted by Corporates. Seek help from those corporates to setting up the digital labs.
Stage 3 : Seek CSR fund from Corporates and/or set up the digital lab by the Government itself.

Following are the class wise lessons to be prepared for the Phase 1 :

Each unit has activities:

Each lesson is divided into 10 parts , so as to have learning units in small doses to the children. The duration of each learning unit would be around 10 minutes. Thus total learning units to be prepared would be around 6800 Units.

(a) Concept preparation(Retired Teachers)
(b) Script Preparation(Retired Teachers or B Ed Completed)
(c) Graphics Preparation(Graphics)
(d) Voice Over(Voice Over Artist or Retired Teacher)
(e) Video Preparation
(f) Test Questions base preparation(B Ed Completed or Graduate)
(g) Test Data Preparation(Tester)
(h) Upload and Test(Tester).
For each activity costs as we need to use experience resources.

Fund contributed has exemption under 80(G):

Fund Required:

Cost of making each unit would be of INR 20,000. Sponsor banner gets displayed at the bottom of the screen for the learning units sponsored. It would be displayed at all the schools implemented with this framework. Sponsor has to option to choose any number of learning units.
